What a great example of making lemons into lemonade.  Tony calls OfficeMax and is not happy -- one product doesn't work and the other he doesn't know how to make work.  His call is basically, "OfficeMax, you didn't fulfill your end of the Transaction."  What does Amanda do?  Instead of merely correcting the problems and fulfilling OfficeMax's contractual obligation, she turns the call into an Interaction.  Her smile over the phone (not easy to do) and her courteous manner, combined with her focus on timely delivery, resulted in Tony having an engaging customer service experience.  "She made me feel valued as a customer."
